The house was built in the late 16th century. by order of the Venice Consul and merchant Antonio Massari. The entrance to the portal has a stone coat of Venice - a lion with an open book, and a Latin inscription that translates: "The world will be with you, Mark, my evangelist".Now the building is open as a restaurant "Kryivka". Cuisine - Ukrainian, field. Dishes are served in military dishes. The restaurant has such attractions as a shooting range and the use of old weapons.

The restaurant is mostly tourist oriented and in my opinion the dishes are not incredibly tasty. In the main, "Kryivka" catches tourists with the attraction and atmosphere offered.

The stone building was constructed by Paul Romain with the participation of Pavel Schaslivo in 1589 for the Consul of Venice in Lviv, Antonio Massari. The house has undergone some alterations. The most significant of them - in the XIX century, when the fourth floor was built. The facade is of Renaissance character. It was the residence of many famous figures of Lviv in their era.
